Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has attended a Christmas funfair organised for children by the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central, Hon. Olusola Adeleke.
The grand finale of the three-day programme held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Methodist Grammar School, Igboora, had in attendance parents, political functionaries and well-meaning constituents from Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North.
In his remarks at the event, Hon. Adepoju thanked the local government boss for initiating the epoch-making carnival for the children of the local government, saying behind every successful man, there must be a good woman.
The lawmaker commended Hon. Adeleke and his team for gathering those he described as the leaders of today and tomorrow during the period of love and family, extending the same gesture to the wife of the local government chairman for her efforts in assisting her husband in his bid to serve the local government effectively.
He also acknowledged the significance of effective collaboration of government at all levels, saying Hon. Adeleke has prioritised the crucial steps towards actualising the agenda of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for sustainable development and the administration of Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character, however, promised to continue to work hand in hand with those in government, critical stakeholders in the constituency and hard-working residents of Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North for the overall development of the federal constituency.
He urged the pupils, as they enjoy the festive season, to face their studies squarely, saying good readers are great leaders. He wished the people of the constituency a Merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance.
