Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has facilitated the successful recruitment of five constituents into the Nigerian Army through his concerted efforts to bring job opportunities into numerous households in his constituency.
The successful beneficiaries are: Olagoke Usman Kunle, Adeniji Samson, Ayandokun Abiodun Femi, Olayiwola Oluwafemi Ayomide and Ojelabi Basit Adebare.
It is important to clarify that when this recruitment opportunity became available, it was open to qualified and interested constituents from across Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency. However, the only applicants who completed the process and were presented for this particular opportunity were all from Igbo-Ora in Ibarapa Central Local Government.
The newly enlisted soldiers were formally received on behalf of Hon. Adepoju by Hon. Remi Ayoade at the federal lawmaker’s country home in Igbo-Ora on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Receiving the young soldiers, Hon. Ayoade congratulated the beneficiaries on their successful enlistment and conveyed Ibarapakan’s goodwill and best wishes to them.
Hon. Ayoade urged the soldiers to be worthy ambassadors of Ibarapa Land wherever they are deployed, stressing that they should uphold the values of discipline, integrity and patriotism. He also advised them to accord maximum respect to their superior officers and other constituted authorities, noting that obedience and professionalism are essential virtues for a successful military career.
Hon. Ayoade prayed for the career success of the newly enlisted soldiers, assuring constituents alike that Hon. Adepoju remains committed to achieving aspirations of his constituents in any endeavour they may so wish.
Before the gallant soldiers departed, Hon. Adepoju, despite being engaged in official duties at the National Assembly in Abuja, took time out of his busy schedule to personally congratulate them over the phone.
During the conversation, the lawmaker commended their courage, patriotism and commitment to the service of the nation. He assured them of his support, stating that as a member of the House of Representatives Committee on Army, he remains willing and ready to assist them in any legitimate way possible to enhance their careers and contribute to their professional success.
He offered prayers for their safety, success and divine protection in the course of their service, while urging them to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity and professionalism. He also encouraged them to remain worthy ambassadors of Ibarapa Land wherever they are deployed, carrying with pride the values and honour of their homeland.
The beneficiaries, however, expressed appreciation to Hon. Adepoju for facilitating their enlistment into the Nigerian Army, their lifelong dream, describing the opportunity as life-changing. They pledged to serve Nigeria with loyalty, dedication and professionalism while making Ibarapa Land proud.
